At Fairwinds, you can expect exceptional levels of care delivered to you in a warm and respectful environment. With one of the highest staff-to-patient ratios in the industry, our alcohol and drug rehab treatment team is dedicated to helping your family achieve a full, lasting recovery.
The Fairwinds drug and alcohol rehab program integrates philosophies and practices from the medical and therapeutic communities, family systems theory and the Twelve Step philosophy. Our dual diagnosis recovery model utilizes a 28-day treatment program, including detox services.
After a comprehensive psychiatric, medical and family dynamic evaluation, a physician and individual therapist will be assigned to help you and your family develop a customized alcohol or drug rehab treatment plan. Clients see our attending psychiatrist once a day and attend two individualized psychotherapy and family sessions per week. With a focus on achieving maximum results, your treatment plan will be reviewed weekly and revised as appropriate.
Our substance abuse treatment program schedule provides a combination of individual and group services through both an educational and counseling approach. Clients progress through the program via a variety of phases, with each phase designed to assist clients in becoming more aware their strengths and weaknesses and how to incorporate coping skills into their daily lives.

Self-Help Groups/The Twelve Step Philosophy
At Fairwinds, we believe that participation in self-help groups is essential to successful alcohol and drug rehab treatment. We utilize Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) models, which play an important role in dual diagnosis treatment. These groups are designed to help clients with similar struggles and goals as you share fellowship, support, life experiences and information to maintain a lasting recovery.
