Fairwinds takes a unique approach in providing a comprehensive Medical Model for clients in our Addictions and Eating Disorders Programs:
- The attending psychiatrist works with the patient on a daily basis to determine underlying behavioral health issues. Disorders may include one or more of the following: depression, anxiety, bi-polar, obsessive compulsive, post-traumatic stress and other conditions.
- The psychiatrist is the treatment team leader and works with clinical team on a daily basis.
- Our nursing staff provides medical supervision and monitoring on a 24/7 basis, including educational services.
- Medical physicians evaluate all patients for physical and medical conditions outside of needed psychiatric services.
- We provide complete detoxification and stabilization services.
