Adult Programs

Adults today face many pressures in the daily struggles of life.  Career concerns, financial, family and social obligations can make life a challenge for anyone.  Compound those concerns with thoughts 
of deteriorating health, aging, death and divorce, 
and it can sometimes prove too much.

Fairwinds Treatment Center is devoted to the personalized evaluation and treatment of emotional and substance abuse related disorders.  Treatment programs are specifically designed to deal with 
both the emotional and addictive components.

Fairwinds is guided by a skilled professional team fully
sensitive to patient needs and dedicated to patient recovery.

Residential/Inpatient

The Residential/Inpatient program represents the most intensive phase in the Fairwinds continuum of care.  Individual treatment plans are designed to impact all phases of patient recovery from addictive to mental health disorders.  Fairwinds combines the twelve-step program with a psychodynamic approach for the most effective intervention essential to successful treatment in a highly structured environment within an open facility.

The essential elements of the programs are the various treatments employed both independently and collectively, to provide a diversified and effective treatment regimen.  While not all treatments are appropriate for every patient in the program, each element is available for use as indicated.  All are utilized by physician prescription, based on clinical decision from the treatment team.

Intensive Outpatient

When a patient's clinical status is indicative of effective functioning at work or home, yet the need for intensive treatment is evident, Fairwinds Intensive Outpatient Program offers the ideal alternative.  The program provides comprehensive care and flexibility to offer an individualized treatment plan.  It is an acute treatment approach which is le4ss disruptive to the family and work environment, while creating the ideal transition to weekly outpatient therapy and aftercare.  Intensive evening programming offers an alternative to those unable to attend the Intensive Day Treatment Program.
