What to Expect From Drug Rehab at Fairwinds Treatment Center in Clearwater, FL?

Once you reach out to our team, we will take you through a stepwise process to eliminate your addiction:

Evaluation: The first process allows our team to understand your overall condition to determine any additional treatment plan. In this phase, there is a physical exam, medical history, lab work, and biopsychosocial assessment.
Medical stabilization: Here, the patient undergoes a medically supervised withdrawal or medical detox under the care of nurses and addiction doctors in a three to five-day period. Our “soft landing” approach to detox helps the patient recover from the acute effects of drugs or alcohol. It also includes medication to help with significant symptoms of withdrawal to start drug rehab.
Follow-up care and education: Fairwinds Treatment Center develops a unique discharge care plan for every patient by taking advantage of detox gains. The follow-up appointments after discharge help the team to offer ongoing support for patients. The patients may also need follow-up appointments within 24 to 72 hours of release.
