Fairwinds Treatment Center strongly encouarages an individual's family and loved ones to be a part of their recovery process. Our treatment plans strongly emphasize each patient functioning within the family unit.

We understand that addictions, mental health issues, and eating disorders affect everyone in our patients' lives, so families are asked to actively participate in family therapy and multi-family groups. This concept has proven to help strengthen and individual's personal relationship with family members and help the family unit become stronger.

We also understand that our patients come from all over and some families are not local, and it might not be convenient to get to our facility. We can accommodate for other types of family therapy besides face-to-face therapy.

For our residential patients at Fairwinds, we also have visitation hours where family and loved ones are highly enouraged to visit.
